History

Binghatti Properties was founded in 2008 by Hussain Binghatti, Muhammad Binghatti, and Ahmed Binghatti. Headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the company has established itself as a prominent player in the real estate sector. Over the years, Binghatti has built a reputation for delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

The company’s early years were focused on building a solid foundation in Dubai’s competitive real estate market. By the mid-2010s, Binghatti had expanded its footprint across key areas of Dubai, including Business Bay, Downtown Dubai, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Jumeirah Village Circle, and Liwan. The company has invested more than AED 40 billion in real estate projects, building a diverse portfolio of properties.

In 2014, Binghatti made its first significant move in the real estate investment arena by selling Binghatti Terraces, a mid-rise tower in Dubai Silicon Oasis, to the Emirates Real Estate Fund, managed by Emirates NBD. This deal marked a key moment in Binghatti’s strategy to expand its reach and capitalise on Dubai’s growing real estate market.

The company further solidified its position in the market in 2018 with a major acquisition deal with the Bank of Muscat, valued at AED 200 million. This deal involved the purchase of two residential towers in Dubai Silicon Oasis, Binghatti Vista and Binghatti Sapphires.

In 2021, Binghatti ventured into the manufacturing sector by acquiring the Binghatti Beverages Manufacturing Facility located in Khalifa Industrial Zone, Abu Dhabi, for AED 215 million. This acquisition, in partnership with Saudi food company Almarai, marked the company’s entry into a new industry and demonstrated its expanding business interests beyond real estate.

Binghatti’s global ambitions were further realised with the launch of several high-profile branded residential developments. In 2022, the company unveiled the Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co Residences, a skyscraper designed in collaboration with luxury Swiss watchmaker Jacob & Co. This marked Binghatti’s first branded real estate project with a luxury brand, setting a new standard in high-end living.

In 2023, Binghatti took this strategy further with the announcement of the Bugatti Residences, a collaboration with the renowned French luxury automobile brand. This development was the first-ever Bugatti-branded residence, adding another layer of exclusivity and luxury to Binghatti’s portfolio. The unveiling of Mercedes-Benz Places in 2024 followed, marking the third branded real estate venture by Binghatti in collaboration with another prestigious global brand.

The company has also made strides in the financial sector. In February 2024, Binghatti successfully launched its first US dollar-denominated sukuk offering, raising $621 million, well above the initial target of $300 million. This marked a significant milestone, as it was the first real estate sector sukuk from the MENA region in 2024.

Portfolio

Binghatti has built a diverse portfolio of projects, with a total investment exceeding AED 40 billion. Its developments are strategically located across key areas in Dubai, including Business Bay, Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), Dubai Silicon Oasis, Al Jaddaf, and Dubai Science Park.

The Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co Residences, currently under construction, is set to become the world’s tallest residential tower upon completion in 2027. This iconic skyscraper is a partnership with the Swiss luxury watchmaker Jacob & Co. In 2023, Binghatti also launched the Bugatti Residences in Business Bay, the first-ever Bugatti-branded residence in the world. Following this, the company unveiled Mercedes-Benz Places in 2024, a 71-storey tower in Downtown Dubai, co-designed and branded by Mercedes-Benz.

In addition to these branded luxury projects, which include Binghatti Ruby, located in JVC, offers a range of studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom apartments. Binghatti Skyrise, located in Business Bay, provides similar apartment configurations, with prices starting at AED 975,000. Binghatti Hills 2, located in Dubai Science Park, is an upcoming luxury development with 518 residences, and Binghatti Canal, a 22-storey tower in Business Bay, offers views of the Dubai Canal and Burj Khalifa.

Other residential projects by Binghatti include Binghatti Creek in Al Jaddaf, a development that blends modern design with practical living spaces, and Binghatti Heights, a 30-storey residential tower in JVC. Binghatti Jasmine, a mid-rise building in JVC, offers various apartment configurations, along with amenities such as a pool and gym. Binghatti Rose, located in JVC, features luxury apartments with a jacuzzi, health club, and temperature-controlled pool.

In 2021, the company acquired the Binghatti Beverages Manufacturing Facility in Khalifa Industrial Zone, Abu Dhabi, in a deal worth AED 215 million, marking its expansion into the manufacturing sector. In 2024, Binghatti launched its first US dollar-denominated sukuk offering, raising $621 million, surpassing the initial target of $300 million.
